Honora Pearl Jewelry
Freshwater Cultured Pearl Jewelry Collection
For more than 60 years, the name HONORA has stood for quality and value in the jewelry industry. HONORA has specialized in supplying the very best Freshwater Cultured Pearls since they arrived on the market over 20 years ago. In addition to their exciting and affordable Freshwater Cultured Pearls, they also offer an exclusive collection of the finest South Sea Pearls available in classic strands, as well as our unique designs.
Multi Color Cultured Freshwater Pearl Three Bracelet Set
The magnificent luster and hues of blue, brown, pink and grey are displayed throughout this cultured freshwater pearl bracelet. Part of the Honora collection, this bracelet is comprised of three separate pieces. Whether worn separately or all together, they'll surely add a colorful accent to your wrist.
$100
Using these pearls in a variety of shapes and colors, HONORA creates exciting collections of jewelry in a wide range of styles. HONORA products are available at better retailers and fine department stores across the United States.
Freshwater Pearl Ring in Sterling Silver
This freshwater pearl and sterling silver ring has a flamboyant look and feel to it. This stunning piece features a 12mm white pearl that'll surely catch people's attention. It also includes a wide band that is accented with a uniquely woven texture.
$99
One common source of confusion among pearl consumers is the misinformation about what a Cultured Pearl is and how it differs from Natural Pearls. A Natural Pearl forms in nature when an accidental irritant such as sand, a parasite, or any foreign object enters the oyster. In a defensive response, the mollusk begins secreting nacre, thin layers of calcium carbonate in an attempt to cover the offending object.
Black Cultured Freshwater Pearl Bracelet in Sterling Silver
Sterling silver bracelet by Honora. Black pearls with a whisper of green and purple make this bracelet come alive. 7 exotic pearls that will keep you reaching for this piece time after time.
$129
Due to the odd shapes entering the mollusk, the pearls created by the continual layering of nacre will almost always be misshapen (baroque). Only in rare cases will a natural pearl occur in a spherical shape, making it impossible to supply commercial quantities of round necklaces to the marketplace.
A Cultured Pearl is formed in much the same way, but man supplies the initial irritant instead of nature to get the process started. Pearl farmers use a round mother of pearl shell or a piece of mantle tissue, which they insert into the soft tissue of the animal, in an attempt to create a pearl which will possess gem qualities. Pearls are grown over several years (2 to 6 years on average), under the constant care of farmers keeping a watchful eye on their crop.

Alex Soldier Jewelry
Fine Gold and Platinum Wedding Rings
Alex Soldier is a pseudonym for Alexei Soldatov - who was born on a threshold of two continents, Europe and Asia, in the Ural Mountains region, city of Perm. This region is known for its abundant natural resources such as gold. Alex Soldier gives life to his work, making it more a piece of art than an accessory: he breathes life into each piece he creates.
Textured Pink Gold Wedding Bands

$756
When he arrived in the United States in 1990, Soldier began to work independently, trying to develop different ways of designing and producing contemporary jewelry in 18k gold and platinum and precious gemstones. His debut was in 1996, when he was chosen as one of the twelve new dynamic designers to exhibit at the celebrated Jewelers of America Show New Designer Gallery with his neo-classic collection.
18k Gold Engagement & Wedding Rings
A beautifully textured 18k gold engagement set by Alex Soldier. Total diamond weight of .80ct. Center diamond not included.

The show was such a success that in September of the same year, Alex Soldier was invited to have a private exhibition at the United Nations Open Day in New York City. In December 1996, Alex Soldier's collection was also displayed at the prestigious Mougans Gallery in Cannes, France.
Men's Platinum Wedding Band
Square-cut platinum men's wedding band by Alex Soldier. Also available in 18k white gold.
$2712
In 1998, Alex Soldier won a Platinum Passion Award from Platinum Guild International. Two years later, he became a member of the International Jewelry Design Guild. In 2002, he won a prestigious Spectrum Award from American Gem Trade Association.
Soldier's work is always fresh and new. "Every time I create something I strive to find a new composition or finish of metal, unusual forms, or unique stone settings to create a piece that is beautiful and distinctive, that can be appreciated as a finished work of art. I want my jewelry to be recognized as the original works of a designer like no other, as well as for their own individuality."
For Alex Soldier, each piece he creates is a new life waiting to tell its story. More than just metal and stones, Soldier's jewelry is as meaningful, incorporating layers of details that offer its wearer many visual surprises. No other designer in the world possesses the knowledge of the texturing techniques that Alex Soldier implements on his creations, making them original in form and unsurpassed in innovation.

Hudson Jewelry Collection
Gold and Gemstone Jewelry
Light luxury and subtle decadence are two ways to describe jewelry made by the Hudson Collection and designer Sarah Sheridan. The company was founded by diamond traders who settled in New York, so not too surprisingly the collection uses a lot of exquisite diamonds in its designs. But those of you who don't want diamonds in every piece of jewelry you wear don't need to worry.
Manhattan Ring: Green Amethyst in 14k White Gold
The amethyst stone in this piece measures approximately 15mm by 12mm and sits 8mm proud of the hand. This classic piece is a must for any Designer Jewelry collection. The Amethyst is 10.5 carats total weight.
$767
The Hudson Collection design team is based in New York, but is available exclusively in the UK from the Astley Clarke Online Boutique. The talented team at the Hudson Collection also uses Amethyst, Garnet, and other precious and semiprecious stones in its designs. And these stones come in a variety of stunning colors that add a great deal of style and charm to each piece.
Manhattan Pendant: Purple Amethyst in 14k White Gold
The amethyst pendant measures 1/2 an inch in width and 5/8 of an inch in length, on a 16 inch chain. This beautiful designer necklace would make a fabulous gift. 9.75 carats total gem weight.
$767
Hudson Fine Jewelry has the perfect collection for women who mix expensive Fifth Avenue chic and downtown cool. The Collection is known for its strong designs, and the most recognized trademark shape of this designer is the open, softly squared frame. This central shape can be seen throughout the collection, from simple studs, lariat necklaces, cuff links, long swinging snake chain earrings, and large rings.
South Sea Pearl Ring in 14k Yellow Gold
This fabulous ring features a single south sea pearl with subtle gold tones, perfectly complementing its 14k gold setting.
$1303
Chunky necklaces by Hudson are made out of a link style that is unique to the company and designer Sarah Sheridan. To make this style feminine for women, the chain looks like a simple paper chain in metal. Men's chains have a gentle twist so that each link looks like it's tumbling into the next.

A Great Thanksgiving!
Although I've been busy traveling and eating good food, I do have some new pieces on the website. You can find new bracelets on the Swarovski Crystal Bracelets page and the Lampwork Bracelets page.
Today, I'm featuring 3 of the newest necklaces to hit the Cluny Grey Jewelry website. The top labradorite necklace has a pretty teardrop shaped pendant with a labradorite cabochon with plenty of flash. The second rose quartz necklace is a favorite of mine, not only because it is made with vermeil (gold), but because of the very large, rough-cut rose quartz nuggets that make up the lower sides of the necklace. The pendant is especially too: a large rose quartz cabochon with bezel-set citrines at the bottom.
Finally, the bottom necklace is made primarily of jade with a sterling silver pendant consisting of a carved flower and a prehnite cabochon. Do remember that when these are shown on display, they look longer usually than they actually are. Please ask if you need a necklace a certain length.
