Jewelry designer Becky Kelso believes in following her heart, instead following what's hip. Kelso was working on becoming a costume designer, studying illustration and fashion design at the Fashion Institute in Southern California. However, during the two years she spent living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Kelso began to explore the art of jewelry making.
