Northeastern Fine Jewelry

In 1980, during his last year at the Albany College of Pharmacy, Raymond A. Bleser opened the Northeastern Coin Gallery on a shoestring budget. The store grew at a phenomenal rate due to Ray's simple philosophy - give the customer unbeatable service and quality merchandise at the best price.

Within 5 years, the business had outgrown its little storefront; and in 1985 Ray purchased and renovated the building at 1607 Union Street, in Schenectady; Northeastern Fine Jewelry was born. Business continued to surpass expectations, and in November 1998, Ray opened a second location at 1575 Western Avenue in Albany.

And what a luxurious store it is. Clients can enjoy a beverage at the coffee bar while watching the latest news on the big screen TV or just relax to the soothing sounds of the in-store waterfall. Kids are crazy about the playroom where they can enjoy anything from a tea party to video games or cartoons. All of this amongst the most spectacular jewelry you may ever see!

After less than three years, sales at the new location rivaled those of the first store, and buoyed by this success, the company continued to grow. In May of 2004, we opened the doors of our newest store at 4620 Main Street, Manchester Center, Vermont, complete with marble countertops, chandeliers, and a fireplace to provide a warm experience while looking over the newest lines of world class jewelry.
