For more than seven years, Peggy Li has been creating handmade jewelry that has caught the attention of TV's Grey's Anatomy, Without a Trace, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and publications such as Oprah Magazine and Lucky. A stark contrast to her beginnings as a Chemical Engineering major at UC Berkeley, Peggy's handmade jewelry began with inspiration from the artisans at Berkeley's famous Telegraph Avenue.

Ms. Li hopes to continue working in both film and TV and continuing to provide elegant, wearable fashion to her fans. "What's really fun is to collaborate with great costume designers," Ms. Li says. "They tell me about the characters on the show and then I can create what I think will fit that character. I have total creative freedom and they can pick and choose what they want."
Tropical Tag Necklace
Richly patterned sterling silver pendant is abloom with tropical hibiscus, floating butterflies, and climbing vines. Take yourself back to a tropical isle with this gorgeous etched piece. Accented with an ocean blue apatite. Pendant approx. 1 1/4" tall. Choose 16" or 18" long bead chain.

Peggy's jewelry designs are deceptively simple, featuring artisan craftsmanship mixed with contemporary approaches to contrast, color, texture, and composition. "I enjoy designing jewelry, making things that help women feel beautiful. When women feel beautiful, they feel powerful and have more confidence."

Among other things, Peggy wants to be a screenwriter, entomologist, and pastry chef when she grows up. She's currently living in San Francisco. She enjoys watching movies, writing in her blog, and helping other small business owners.See full article.
